Thanks to a tip from a friend about the difficulty posting comments on my blog, I discovered that the settings had somehow got changed without my knowledge. One of the internet gremlins, perhaps. I intended it to be open to comments from anyone, whether you have a google account or not. I don't know how that got changed, but it is now changed back.
Comments are welcome from anyone. To those who tried unsuccessfully, my apologies. Please try again.
