A good beginning toward school safety -- but lacks one key element: the AK-15

Florida's Gov. Rick Scott released his plan to make schools safer.  In includes:
  1.  Tougher background checks and waiting periods
  2.  Ban bump stocks that covert rifles to semi-automatic.
  3.  Giving police greater power to place mentally ill people in custody
  4.  Allocation of hundreds of millions of dollars for improved school security and for mental health services.

What's missing?    People can still go to a gun dealer and buy a weapon of war, such as the popular AK-15, which has no other purpose other than to kill many people quickly.

So let's give Scott a C+ and two cheers for at least doing something in the right direction.
