Yesterday, I gave credit to President Trump for holding the listening session in the White House and -- at least it seemed -- he really listened.
Nope. Here's his take away: We need more guns in schools. Arm certain teachers, who will be highly trained to take out an active shooter. "A gun free zone" is just an invitation to bad guys. We must "harden" our schools, have teachers armed with guns and trained to use them.
Honestly, I thought that even Trump could not sit there and listen to those raw, grieving stories told by the kids who survived -- and not be moved. I was wrong.
